Cloud Solution Architect

We are seeking a dedicated Cloud Solution Architect to be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and robust cloud solutions. You will work closely with our clients and internal teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective cloud architectures. Your expertise will help drive our cloud strategy and ensure the success of our cloud initiatives.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand clients’ business needs and technical requirements for cloud solutions, provide sales support, and design cloud solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
Provide support to clients on their digital transformation journey to the cloud and guidance on best practices for cloud solutions.
Oversee the delivery of proposed solutions, ensuring network configurations compliance, security compliance, successful implementation and client satisfaction.
Develop cloud architectures for various applications and services.
Perform cloud migrations and ensure smooth transitions from on premises to cloud environments.
Develop and maintain cloud governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to cloud infrastructure.
Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends to drive innovation.
Educate customers on the value proposition of the cloud and help in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for a successful deployment through a well-architected framework.

Requirements:

Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field
Minimum 4 years of experience as a Cloud Solution Architect or similar role
In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Deep understanding and experience with cloud architecture, security, deployment models, solution projects and network configurations
In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in Windows Server, Linux, Redhat, CentOS, DNS, LDAP, TCP/IP, and other network protocols
Experience with configuration management tools like Puppet and Ansible
Experience developing and deploying Infrastructure as Code (IaC) such as Terraform / CloudFormation
Familiarity with containers (Openshift, Kubernetes, Docker etc.)
Knowledge of one or more scripting languages (bash, Powershell, Python)
Knowledge of cloud monitoring and alerting services and capabilities
AWS/AZURE Certified Solutions Architect Professional or AWS/AZURE Certified DevOps Engineer Professional certification
Excellent problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify issues, solve them quickly and well, and know when to rely on internal resources to assist
Superior communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a broad range of stakeholders
